Της Συμφωνίας επιστημονικής και τεχνολογικής συ?νεργασίας μεταξύ των Κυβερνήσεων της Ελληνικής Δη?μοκρατίας και της Ομοσπονδιακής Δημοκρατίας της Γερ?μανίας που υπεγράφη στη Βόννη στις 30.11.1978 και κυ?ρώθηκε με τον υπ’ αριθ. 1231/1982 Νόμο που δημοσιεύθηκε στο υπ’ αριθ. 24 Φύλλο της Εφημερίδος της Κυβερνήσεως τεύχος Α~ της 26 Φεβρουαρίου 1982.

Του υπό έγκριση Πρωτοκόλλου, αποφασίζουμε: Εγκρίνουμε ως έχει και στο σύνολό του, το Πρωτόκολ?λο επιστημονικής και τεχνολογικής συνεγασίας μεταξύ της Ελλάδος και της Γερμανίας που υπογράφηκε στην Α?θήνα και στο Βερολίνο αντίστοιχα στις 13.10.1999 του ο?ποίου το κείμενο σε πρωτότυπο στην αγγλική γλώσσα και σε μετάφραση στην ελληνική έχει ως εξής: Αθήνα, 27 Ιουνίου 2000 ΟΙ ΥΠΟΥΡΓΟΙ ΕΞΩΤΕΡΙΚΩΝ ΕΘΝΙΚΗΣ ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΑΣ & ΑΝΑΠΤΥΞΗΣ ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΚΩΝ Γ. ΠΑΠΑΝΔΡΕΟΥ Γ. ΠΑΠΑΝΤΩΝΙΟΥ Ν. ΧΡΙΣΤΟΔΟΥΛΑΚΗΣ PROTOCOL OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL COOPERATION BETWEEN GREECE AND GERMANY 1999-2001 Athens, July 28th-29th, 1999 Based on - The Agreement on Scientific and Technological Coop?eration between Greece and Germany of November 30th, 1988 and - The results of the project selection meeting held on Ju?ly 28th-29th, 1999. The Two Sides agree upon the following programme of scientific and technological cooperation:

Acceptance of new projects The Two Sides approve the 38 proposals listed up in An?nex I which have been selected on the basis of the follow?ing criteria: A. The scientific merit of the projects B. The priorities of the development of Science and Technology in each country C. Potential good perspectives for technological in?novation concerning industrial processes.

Organisational and Financial Issues The Two Parties agree that the scientific and technologi?cal cooperation directly supported by them on the basis of available resources will be carried out in accordance with national rules and international obligations respected by both sides. The above mentioned cooperation will be carried out in the following way: -Joint R+D Projects including working days in both countries. -exchange of publications, documentation, information and organization of workshops in both countries. Especially, The two Parties agree that a joint workshop on: "Physical and Chemical Technologies", including "New Materials", will be organized and held in Greece, in the second semester of 2000. Organizational and financial issues concerning the exchanges of the researhers participating in the approved joint projects are included in Annex II.

Date and Place of the 12th Session of the Joint Com?mittee. The Parties have agreed that the 12th Session of the 2689 and Technology, will visit Germany in order to discuss, a?mong others: • The main priorities about the development of the sci?entific research in both countries, • New perspectives of the, so far, successful Greek-Ger?man bilateral Scientific and Technological Cooperation, The definitive dates of the 12th Session as well as of the joint workshop in Greece will be agreed by correspon?dance.
