1 Amendment of European Communities Act, 1972.

1.—The European Communities Act, 1972, is hereby amended by the insertion, in the definition of “the treaties governing the European Communities” in section 1 (1), after paragraph (k) (inserted by the European Communities (Amendment) Act, 1979) of the following paragraph:

“and

(l) the Treaty amending, with regard to Greenland, the Treaties establishing the European Communities, signed at Brussels on the 12th day of March, 1984”.

2 Short title, collective citation and commencement.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the European Communities (Amendment) Act, 1985.

(2) The European Communities Acts, 1972 to 1979, and this Act may be cited together as the European Communities Acts, 1972 to 1985.

(3) This Act shall come into operation on such date as the Minister for Foreign Affairs appoints by order.
