1. Amendment of section 31 of Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009

1. Section 31 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 is amended—

(a) in subsection (5) by substituting the following paragraph for paragraph (a):

“(a) A housing authority shall, in accordance with regulations made for the purposes of this section, not later than the date prescribed by the Minister for the purposes of this subsection, make a scheme (in this Act referred to as a ‘rent scheme’) providing for the manner in which rents and other charges referred to in subsection (3) shall be determined.”,

and

(b) in subsection (6)—

(i) by deleting paragraph (b), and

(ii) in paragraph (e), by deleting “the cost of providing social housing support and”.

2. Short title and collective citation

2. (1) This Act may be cited as the Housing (Amendment) Act 2013.

(2) The Housing Acts 1966 to 2009 and this Act may be cited together as the Housing Acts 1966 to 2013.
