LegalizeCouncil Implementing Regulation (EU) No 170/2012 of 28 February 2012 implementing Article 8a(1) of Regulation (EC) No 765/2006 concerning restrictive measures in respect of Belarus
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 765/2006 (1), and in particular Article 8a(1) thereof,
Whereas:
(1) On 18 May 2006, the Council adopted Regulation (EC) No 765/2006.
(2) In view of the gravity of the situation in Belarus, certain persons should be included in the list of natural and legal persons, entities and bodies subject to restrictive measures as set out in Annex IB to Regulation (EC) No 765/2006.
(3) The information relating to persons on the list in Annex IA to Regulation (EC) No 765/2006 should be updated.
(4) Annexes IA and IB to Regulation (EC) No 765/2006 should be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
Article 1
In Annex IA to Regulation (EC) No 765/2006, the entries for the following persons:
Khadanevich, Aliaksandr Alyaksandrauvich
Pykina, Natallia
Saikouski, Uladzimir
Chubkavets, Kiril
Khrobastau, Uladzimir Ivanavich
Shylko, Alena Mikalaeuna
Stsiapurka, Uladzimir Mikhailavich
shall be replaced by the entries set out in Annex I to this Regulation.
Article 2
The text in Annex IB to Regulation (EC) No 765/2006 shall be replaced by the text as set out in in Annex II to this Regulation.
Article 3
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
