Article 1
List of recognised third countries
The list of third countries recognised for the purpose of equivalence under Article 33(2) of Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 is set out in Annex I to this Regulation.
Article 2
List of recognised control authorities and control bodies
The list of control authorities and control bodies recognised for the purpose of equivalence under Article 33(3) of Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 is set out in Annex II to this Regulation.
Article 3
Entry into force and application
This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
It shall apply from 1 January 2022.
Article 1 shall apply until 31 December 2026.
Article 2 shall apply until 31 December 2024.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
ANNEX
LIST OF RECOGNISED THIRD COUNTRIES REFERRED TO IN ARTICLE 1 AND THE RELEVANT SPECIFICATIONS
For the purposes of this Annex, the categories of products are designated by the following codes:

| (1) Pursuant to Article 17(1), point (f), of Regulation (EC) No 834/2007, animals and animal products produced during the conversion period shall not be marketed in the Union with the indications referred to in Articles 23 and 24 of that Regulation used in the labelling and advertising of products. Such products are therefore also excluded from the recognitions as regards product categories B and D for all third countries listed in this Annex. (2) Ingredients have to be certified by a control authority or control body recognised in accordance with Article 33(3) of Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 or produced and certified within the scope of a third country recognised in accordance with Article 33(2) of that Regulation or produced and certified in the Union in accordance with that Regulation. |
