This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

However, Articles 4(3), 4(5) and 36(3) shall apply from 2 December 2026.

Articles 13 to 16 shall apply from 6 months after the entry into force of this Regulation. Articles 21 to 34 shall apply from the entry into force of this Regulation, for the purposes of the implementation of the performance and charging schemes pertaining to the fifth and subsequent reference periods.

Article 53 shall apply from 2 December 2026.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
