(31) Net-positive contributions to biodiversity are additional conservation/restoration outcomes beyond offsetting measures, i.e. measures designed to compensate for residual, unavoidable, adverse biodiversity impacts arising from the project after appropriate prevention and mitigation measures have been taken.
