Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/123 of 16 January 2026 implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/386 establishing restrictive measures against those who support, facilitate or enable violent actions by Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EU) 2024/386 of 19 January 2024 establishing restrictive measures against those who support, facilitate or enable violent actions by Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (1), and in particular Article 13(1) and (4) thereof,

Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,

Whereas:

(1) On 19 January 2024, the Council adopted Regulation (EU) 2024/386.

(2) In accordance with Article 13(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/386, the Council has carried out a review of the restrictive measures against natural or legal persons, groups, entities and bodies listed in Annex I to that Regulation. The Council has concluded that the entry for one deceased individual should be deleted and the entry for one individual should be updated.

(3) Regulation (EU) 2024/386 should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2024/386 is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
