THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2024/573 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 February 2024 on fluorinated greenhouse gases, amending Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and repealing Regulation (EU) No 517/2014 [^ntr1-L_202602214EN.000101-E0001], and in particular Article 10(8) thereof,
Whereas:
- (1) The Polish language version of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2215 [^ntr2-L_202602214EN.000101-E0002] contains an error in Article 3(3), point (a), as regards the responsibility for the correct execution of the activity. The error alters the meaning of the provision, affecting its substance.
- (2) The Polish language version of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2215 contains an error in point 4, the table, row 1.00, second column, of Annex I, as regards the required understanding of legislation. The error affects the substance of that provision.
- (3) The Hungarian and Polish language versions of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2215 contain errors in point 4, the table, of Annex I: in row 1.02, second column, as regards the required understanding of refrigerants, and in row 6.02, second column, as regards the type of the equipment. The errors affect the substance of those provisions.
- (4) The error as regards the type of equipment is repeated in the Polish language version of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2215, in point 4, the table, rows 7.03 and 8.03, second column, of Annex I.
- (5) The Lithuanian and Polish language versions of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2215 contain errors in point 4, in the table, rows 6.06, 7.07 and 8.08, second column, of Annex I, as regards the checks during operation of the equipment. The errors affect the substance of those provisions.
- (6) The Hungarian, Lithuanian and Polish language versions of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2215 should therefore be corrected accordingly. The other language versions are not affected.
- (7) The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Committee on fluorinated greenhouse gases, delivered prior to the adoption of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2215,
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
Article 1
(Does not concern the English language.)
Article 2
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
