1 The Principal Act.

1.—In this Act the expression “the Principal Act” means the University Education (Agriculture and Dairy Science) Act, 1926 (No. 32 of 1926).

2 Amendment of section 8 (1) of the Principal Act.

2.—(1) Sub-section (1) of section 8 of the Principal Act shall be construed and have effect and be deemed always to have had effect as if the words “Not later than the 30th day of September 1932” were inserted therein in lieu of and substitution for the words “Not later than three years after the appointed day” now contained therein.

(2) So much of sub-section (1) of section 8 of the Principal Act as limits the amount to be paid thereunder to University College, Cork, to a sum not exceeding £67,000 (sixty-seven thousand pounds) shall cease to have effect and in lieu thereof it is hereby enacted that the amount to be paid under the said sub-section to the said College shall not exceed the sum of £82,000 (eighty-two thousand pounds).

3 Short title and citation.

3.—(1) This Act may be cited as the University Education (Agriculture and Dairy Science) Act, 1930.

(2) The Principal Act and this Act may be cited together as the University Education (Agriculture and Dairy Science) Acts, 1926 and 1930.
