1 Amendment of section 3 of the Road Transport Act, 1933.

1.—(1) Sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Road Transport Act, 1933 (No. 8 of 1933), is hereby amended by the substitution of the figures and words “the 31st day of October, 1933,” for the words “one month after the date of the passing of this Act” now contained therein, and the said section shall be construed and have effect accordingly.

(2) This section shall have and be deemed to have had effect as from the date of the passing of the Road Transport Act, 1933.

2 Short title.

2.—This Act may be cited as the Road Transport (No. 2) Act, 1933.
