1 Amendment of section 23 of the National Health Insurance Act, 1933.

1.—(1) Paragraph (a) of sub-section (3) of section 23 of the National Health Insurance Act, 1933 (No. 13 of 1933), is hereby amended by the insertion therein of the following clause in lieu of clause (i) now contained therein and the said section shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say:—

“(i) a person who was a part-time officer of such society in any capacity other than that of secretary.”

(2) This section shall have and be deemed to have had effect as from the 14th day of July, 1933.

2 Short title and citation.

2.—This Act may be cited as the National Health Insurance Act, 1934, and the National Health Insurance Acts, 1911 to 1933, and this Act may be cited together as the National Health Insurance Acts, 1911 to 1934.
