Fisheries Act , 1937

1 Amendment of section 13 of the Fisheries Act, 1925.

1.—Section 13 of the Fisheries Act, 1925 (No. 32 of 1925), as amended by section 1 of the Fisheries Act, 1935 (No. 34 of 1935), is hereby amended in the following respects and shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say:—

(a) by the insertion in sub-section (6) of the said section 13 of the word “twenty-three” in lieu of the word “eleven” now contained therein;

(b) by the insertion in sub-section (7) of the said section 13 of the word “twenty-four” in lieu of the word “twelve” now contained therein; and

(c) by the insertion in sub-section (9) of the said section 13 of the word “twenty-three” in lieu of the word “eleven” now contained therein.

2 Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Fisheries Act, 1937.

(2) For the purposes of collective citation the expression “the Fisheries Acts, 1842 to 1937” shall include this Act.
