1 Amendment of sub-section (3) of section 12 of the Local Government Act, 1927.

1.—Section 2 of the Local Government (Amendment) Act, 1934 (No. 5 of 1934), is hereby repealed, and in lieu thereof it is hereby enacted that sub-section (3) of section 12 of the Local Government Act, 1927 (No. 3 of 1927), be and is hereby amended, as on and from the 1st day of October, 1938, by the substitution of the figures “1939” for the figures “1930” at the end of that sub-section.

2 Short title and citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Amendment) Act, 1939.

(2) The Local Government Acts, 1925 to 1936, and this Act may be cited together as the Local Government Acts, 1925 to 1939.
