1 President of Ireland to be President of the Irish Red Cross Society.

1.—(1) The President of Ireland shall, by virtue of his office, be President of the Irish Red Cross Society.

(2) Article 7 of the Irish Red Cross Society Order, 1939 (S. R. & O., No. 206 of 1939), is hereby revoked.

2 Short title and collective citation.

2.—This Act may be cited as the Red Cross Act, 1944, and the Red Cross Act, 1938 (No. 32 of 1938), and this Act may be cited together as the Red Cross Acts, 1938 and 1944.
