1 Suspension of operation of Flax Act, 1936.

1.—The operation of the Flax Act, 1936 (No. 20 of 1936), and of any orders and regulations thereunder in force immediately before the passing of this Act, is hereby suspended until the 1st day of January, 1950, or such earlier day as may be fixed by order of the Government.

2 Short title.

2.—This Act may be cited as the Flax Act, 1936 (Suspension) Act, 1947.
