1 Principal Act.

1.—In this Act the expression “the Principal Act” means the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1946.

2 Application of Principal Act to 1948-49.

2.—The Prinicpal Act shall apply to the local financial year ending on the 31st day of March, 1949.

3 Amendment of section 7 (3) of Principal Act.

3.—Subsection (3) of section 7 of the Principal Act is hereby amended by the deletion of “the 1st day of February” and the substitution therefor of “the 15th day of October.”

4 Short title and collective citation.

4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1947.

(2) The Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Acts, 1939 and 1946, and this Act may be cited together as the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Acts, 1939 to 1947.
