1 Extension of limit on total amount of sums advanced to Road Fund under Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926.

1.—The following subsection shall be substituted for subsection (2) of section 1 of the Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926 (No. 29 of 1926):—

“ (2) The total amount of the sums advanced to the Road Fund under this section shall not exceed the sum of five million pounds.”

2 Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1948.

(2) The Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926 (No. 29 of 1926), and this Act may be cited together as the Road Fund (Advances) Acts, 1926 and 1948.
