AN ACT TO EXTEND THE LIMIT ON THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE SUMS ADVANCED TO THE ROAD FUND UNDER THE ROAD FUND (ADVANCES) ACT, 1926. [11th August, 1948.]
BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:—
1 Extension of limit on total amount of sums advanced to Road Fund under Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926.
1.—The following subsection shall be substituted for subsection (2) of section 1 of the Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926 (No. 29 of 1926):—
“ (2) The total amount of the sums advanced to the Road Fund under this section shall not exceed the sum of five million pounds.”
2 Short title and collective citation.
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1948.
- (2) The Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926 (No. 29 of 1926), and this Act may be cited together as the Road Fund (Advances) Acts, 1926 and 1948.
