1 Continuance of the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Acts, 1923 to 1947.
1.—The Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Acts, 1923 to 1947, shall continue in force until midnight on the 31st day of March, 1949, and shall then expire.
2 Short title and construction.
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1948.
(2) This Act shall be construed as one with the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Acts, 1923 to 1947, and those Acts and this Act may be cited together as the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Acts, 1923 to 1948.
