Minerals Company (Amendment) Act , 1950
1 “The Act of 1947”.
1.—In this Act, the expression “the Act of 1947” means the Minerals Company Act, 1947 (No. 35 of 1947).
2 Amendment of section 3 of the Act of 1947.
2.—In subsection (1) of section 3 of the Act of 1947, the words “eighty-eight thousand pounds” shall be substituted for the words “fifty thousand pounds”.
3 Amendment of section 5 of the Act of 1947.
3.—In subsection (2) of section 5 of the Act of 1947, the words “or of enabling the Company to purchase land and mineral rights therein” shall be inserted after the words “this section”.
4 Short title and collective citation.
4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Minerals Company (Amendment) Act, 1950.
(2) The Minerals Company Acts, 1941 to 1947, and this Act may be cited together as the Minerals Company Acts, 1941 to 1950.
