Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Act , 1955
1 Principal Act and construction.
1.—(1) In this Act “the Principal Act” means the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Act, 1939 (No. 2 of 1939).
(2) The Principal Act and this Act shall be construed together as one Act.
2 Exemptions.
2.—Where eggs are to be consigned for export from registered wholesaler's premises, the Minister, if he so thinks proper, may, as respects the conditions regarding marking of the eggs and the packages containing them imposed by paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section 31 of the Principal Act and the corresponding conditions imposed by paragraph (c) of that subsection, grant exemption from all or any one or more of those conditions, and a note of the exemption shall be included in any licence to export the eggs issued under section 3 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947).
3 Short title and collective citation.
3.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Act, 1955.
(2) The Principal Act and this Act may be cited together as the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Acts, 1939 and 1955.
