Tea (Importation and Distribution) Act, 1956 (Continuance) Act , 1958
1 The Principal Act.
1.—In this Act, “the Principal Act” means the Tea (Importation and Distribution) Act, 1956 (No. 20 of 1956).
2 Continuance of the Principal Act.
2.—(1) The Principal Act, unless previously terminated under subsection (2) of this section, shall continue in force until the expiration of the 30th day of June, 1958.
(2) The Government may by order declare that the Principal Act shall expire on the expiration of a specified day, being a day earlier than the 30th day of June, 1958, and in that case the Principal Act shall expire accordingly.
(3) Section 1 of the Principal Act is hereby repealed.
3 Short title.
3.—This Act may be cited as the Tea (Importation and Distribution) Act, 1956 (Continuance) Act, 1958.
