1 Amendment of section 3 of Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1945.

1.—Section 3 of the Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1945, is hereby amended—

(a) by the insertion of the following subsection after subsection (1):

“(1A) Of the members of the city council who in accordance with an order under this section are elected for an electoral area, such number as is specified for that purpose in the order shall be aldermen and the others shall be councillors.”; and

(b) by the deletion of subsection (5).

2 Short title and Collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1967.

(2) The Local Government (Dublin) Acts, 1930 to 1955, and this Act may be cited together as the Local Government (Dublin) Acts, 1930 to 1967.
