Courts (Supplemental Provisions)(Amendment) Act , 1968
1 Amendment in specified case of Part I of Second Schedule to Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act, 1961.
1.—Where a judge of the Supreme Court who was appointed on the 6th day of October, 1966, vacates his office on the 26th day of March, 1978, he shall be deemed for the purposes of Part I of the Second Schedule to the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act, 1961, to have vacated his office after fifteen years' service.
2 Short title, construction and collective citation.
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) (Amendment) Act, 1968.
(2) The Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act, 1961, the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) (Amendment) Act, 1962, the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) (Amendment) Act, 1964, the Courts Act, 1964, and this Act shall be construed together as one Act and may be cited together as the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Acts, 1961 to 1968.
