1 Amendment of section 6 of the Grass Meal (Production) Act, 1953.

1.—Section 6 of the Grass Meal (Production) Act, 1953 (as amended by section 4 (1) of the Grass Meal (Production) (Amendment) Act, 1959), is hereby amended by the substitution in subsection (2) of “three hundred and fifty thousand pounds” for “two hundred thousand pounds”.

2 Power of Min Fhéir (1959) Teoeranta to borrow temporarily.

2.—Min Fhéir (1959) Teoranta may, with the consent of the Minister for Finance, given after consultation with the Minister for Industry and Commerce, borrow temporarily by arrangement with bankers such sums as it may require for the purpose of providing for current expenditure.

3 Short title and collective citation.

3.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Grass Meal (Production) (Amendment) Act, 1969.

(2) The Grass Meal (Production) Acts, 1953 and 1959, and this Act may be cited together as the Grass Meal (Production) Acts, 1953 to 1969.
