Transport Act , 1969

1 Amendment of section 4 of Transport Act, 1964.

1.—Section 4 (1) of the Transport Act, 1964, is hereby amended by the substitution of “seventeen million pounds” for “six million pounds”•

2 Non-repayable grants to Córas Iompair Éireann.

2.—The Minister for Transport and Power shall, at such times as the Minister for Finance may determine, make to Córas Iompair Éireann, out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas, non-repayable grants of such amount as the Minister for Finance may determine but not exceeding £642,460 in the aggregate.

3 Expenses.

3.—The expenses incurred by the Minister for Transport and Power in the administration of this Act shall, to such extent as may be sanctioned by the Minister for Finance, be paid out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas.

4 Short title.

4.—This Act may be cited as the Transport Act, 1969.
