1 Non-repayable grants to Córas Iompair Éireann.

1.—(1) The Minister for Transport and Power may make to the Board in the financial year of the Board ending on the 31st day of March, 1971, out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas, non-repayable grants of amounts not exceeding £2,980,000 in the aggregate, and any such grants shall be in addition to any grants payable to the Board under any previous enactments.

(2) In this section “the Board” means Córas Iompair Éireann,

2 Expenses.

2.—The expenses incurred by the Minister for Transport and Power in the administration of this Act shall, to such extent as may be sanctioned by the Minister for Finance, be paid out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas.

3 Short title.

3.—This Act may be cited as the Transport Act, 1970.
