1 Amendment of Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1893.

1.—The Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1893, shall have effect, in relation to the amalgamation of two or more registered societies each of which has amongst its objects and is engaged in the manufacture of butter, cream or any other dairy product, as if “of not less than three fourths” were deleted in section 51 (a).

2 Short title, construction and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Industrial and Provident Societies (Amendment) Act, 1971.

(2) The Industrial and Provident Societies Acts, 1893 to 1966, and this Act shall be construed together and may be cited together as the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts, 1893 to 1971.
