1 Appointment of rate collectors under county councils.
1.—The appointment of a rate collector under the council of a county for a rate collection district lawfully established in that county shall be an executive function for the purposes of the County Management Acts 1940 to 1972, and accordingly, section 16 (7) of the County Management Act, 1940, is hereby repealed.
2 Short title and collective citation.
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the County Management (Amendment) Act, 1972.
(2) The County Management Acts, 1940 to 1955, and this Act may be cited together as the County Management Acts, 1940 to 1972.
