National Building Agency Limited (Amendment) Act , 1974

1 Amendment of section 9 of National Building Agency Limited Act, 1963.

1.—Section 9 of the National Building Agency Limited Act, 1963, is hereby amended by the substitution for “five million pounds” (inserted by the National Building Agency Limited (Amendment) Act, 1969) of “fifteen million pounds” and the said section 9, as so amended, is set out in the Table to this section.

9.—The aggregate at any one time of—

(a) advances under section 6 of this Act which have not been repaid,

(b) principal which the Minister is liable to repay on foot of any guarantee or guarantees under section 7 of this Act, and

(c) principal which the Minister has previously paid on any such guarantee or guarantees and which has not been repaid by the Company,

shall not exceed fifteen million pounds.

2 Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the National Building Agency Limited (Amendment) Act, 1974.

(2) The National Building Agency Limited Acts, 1963 and 1969, and this Act may be cited together as the National Building Agency Limited Acts, 1963 to 1974.
