EXPLANATORY NOTE.
The regulations revoke Regulation 10 of the European Communities (Marketing Standards for Eggs) Regulations, 1973 ( S.I. The effect of this revocation is to apply fully the seven metric weight grade system as provided for in Article 10 of Regulation (EEC) No. 2772/75 of the Council of 29 October, 1975 on marketing standards for eggs.
