I, GENE FITZGERALD, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 (1) of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

This Order may be cited as the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (Appointed Day) (Nitrigin Éireann Teoranta) Order, 1978.
2.
The 23rd day of August, 1978, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of section 6 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), in relation to Nitrigin Éireann Teoranta.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
