1 Amendment of Prisons Act, 1972.

1.—Section 2 of the Prisons Act, 1972, is hereby amended by the substitution for subsection (1) (inserted by the Prisons Act, 1977) of the following subsection:

“(1) This section shall continue in operation until the 31st day of May, 1983.”.

2 Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Prisons Act, 1980.

(2) The Prisons Acts, 1826 to 1977, and this Act may be cited together as the Prisons Acts, 1826 to 1980.
