1 Duration of Rent Restrictions (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1981.

1.—The following section shall be substituted for section 2 of the Rent Restrictions (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1981 (inserted by the Rent Restrictions (Temporary Provisions) (Continuance) Act, 1981):

“2. This Act shall have effect until the 25th day of July, 1982, or the date of the commencement of the Housing (Private Rented Dwellings) Act, 1982, whichever first occurs, and shall then expire.”.

2 Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Rent Restrictions (Temporary Provisions) (Continuance) Act, 1982.

(2) The Rent Restrictions Acts, 1960 to 1981, and this Act may be cited together as the Rent Restrictions Acts, 1960 to 1982.
