1 Amendment of section 4 of Ombudsman Act, 1980.

1.—The Ombudsman Act, 1980, is hereby amended by the substitution of the following paragraph for paragraph (c) of section 4 (10):

“(c) Where an order is proposed to be made under this subsection, a draft thereof shall be laid before each House of the Oireachtas and the order shall not be made until a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House.”.

2 Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Ombudsman (Amendment) Act, 1984.

(2) The Ombudsman Act, 1980, section 52 of the Finance Act, 1981, and this Act may be cited together as the Ombudsman Acts, 1980 to 1984.
