Road Traffic (Lighting of Vehicles) Regulations, 1963 to 1991.".

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for the Environment this 20th day of October, 1993.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations amend the Road Traffic (Control of Supply of Vehicles) Regulations, 1991 ( S.I. No. 35 of 1991 ) which made it an offence for a commercial supplier to supply, or offer to supply, a new or used motor vehicle, trailer or semi-trailer on or after 1 March, 1991, which does not comply with Irish Road Traffic Regulations on the construction, equipment and lighting of vehicles. The Regulations update the Schedule to the original Regulations which specified the Road Traffic Regulations to be complied with in order to take account of such Regulations made since 1991.
