EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (ACCOUNTS) (FORM) REGULATIONS, 1995.
I, RICHARD BRUTON, Minister for Enterprise and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) and for the purpose of giving further effect to Council Directive No. 90/605/EEC^1 hereby make the following Regulations:

These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Accounts) (Form) Regulations, 1995.
2.
These Regulations shall come into operation on 6th day of July, 1995.
3.
In these Regulations—
the "European Communities (Accounts) Regulations" means the European Communities (Accounts) Regulations, 1993 ( S.I. No. 396 of 1993 );
"Irish diplomatic or consular officer" means a person to whom section 2 of the Commissioners for Oaths (Diplomatic and Consular) Act, 1931 (No. 9 of 1931), applies.

The form (P1) set out in the Schedule to these Regulations is hereby prescribed for the purpose of Regulation 20 of the European Communities (Accounts) Regulations, 1993, with such variations as circumstances require.
5.
A translation of a document, being a balance sheet, profit and loss account, report or statement, returned to the registrar of companies under these Regulations shall be certified to be a correct translation—
( a ) if made outside the State, by an Irish diplomatic or consular officer, or by any person whom any such officer certifies to be known to him/her as competent to translate it into the Irish or English language;
( b ) if made within the State, by a notary public or a solicitor.
