The Third Schedule to the Freedom of Information Act, 1997 (No. 13 of 1997) is hereby amended -

"
No. 105 of 1971 Health Services Regulations, 1971. Article. 5.
"
" No. 125 of 1998 European Communities Act, 1972 (Access to Information on the Environment) Regulations, 1998 Article 7 and 8. ".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations provide for the correction of a typographical error with regard to the number and year of an enactment listed in the Third Schedule to the Freedom of Information Act, 1997 (No. 13 of 1997). They also provide for addition of a reference to the Access to Information on the Environment Regulations, 1998, and of a reference to the Health Services Regulations, 1971, to that Schedule. This means that the Freedom of Information Act will override restrictions on access to information under those Regulations.
