I, JAMES McDAID, Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 of the Irish Sports Council Act, 1999 (No. 6 of 1999), hereby order as follows:

This Order may be cited as the Irish Sports Council Act, 1999 (Establishment Day) Order, 1999.
2.
The 1st day of July, 1999, is hereby appointed as the establishment day for the purposes of the Irish Sports Council Act, 1999 (No. 6 of 1999).
