Courts (Supplemental Provisions) (Amendment) Act 2000
1 Amendment in specified case of Part I of Second Schedule to Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act, 1961.
1.—Where a judge of the High Court who was appointed on the 1st day of October, 1991, vacates his office on the 9th day of July, 2000, he shall be deemed for the purposes of Part I of the Second Schedule to the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act, 1961, to have vacated his office after 15 years' service.
2 Short title, construction and collective citation.
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) (Amendment) Act, 2000.
(2) The Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Acts, 1961 to 1999, and this Act shall be construed together as one and may be cited together as the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Acts, 1961 to 2000.
