(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation)
The effect of this Order is to list, in accordance with the provisions of section 285A of the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 (inserted by section 46 of the Finance Act 2008 ), those energy efficient products whose capital cost will be eligible for accelerated capital allowances and to specify the energy efficiency criteria used to determine eligibility for inclusion on those product lists.
