EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (SAFEGUARD DECISIONS) (AVIAN INFLUENZA) (MISCELLANEOUS REVOCATIONS) REGULATIONS 2008

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 28th October, 2008.

I, BRENDAN SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 , (No. 27 of 1972) hereby make the following regulations:—

Citation

1.

These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Safeguard Decisions) (Avian Influenza) (Miscellaneous Revocations) Regulations 2008.

2.

The following are revoked:—

(a) European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on Imports from Russia) Regulations, 2005, ( S.I. No. 669 of 2005 ),

(b) European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on imports of Avian Products from Ukraine) Regulations 2005 ( S.I. No. 908 of 2005 ),

(c) European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on imports from Russia) (Amendment) Regulations 2006 ( S.I. No. 81 of 2006 ),

(d) Regulation 2(1) of European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Amendment of Regulations) Regulations (No. 2) 2006 ( S.I. No. 356 of 2006 ),

(e) Regulation 2(2) of European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Amendment of Regulations) Regulations (No. 2) 2006 ( S.I. No. 356 of 2006 ),

(f) Regulation 2(5) of European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Amendment of Regulations) Regulations (No. 2) 2006 ( S.I. No. 356 of 2006 ),

(g) Regulation 2(6) of European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Amendment of Regulations) Regulations (No. 2) 2006 ( S.I. No. 356 of 2006 ),

(h) Regulation 2(2) of European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Amendment of Regulations) (No. 3) Regulations 2006 ( S.I. No. 555 of 2006 ),
