Child Care (Amendment) Act 2013

1. Amendment of section 17 of Child Care Act 1991.

1. Section 17(2) (as amended by section 75 of the Health Act 2004) of the Child Care Act 1991 is amended—

(a) by the substitution of “twenty-nine days” for “twenty-eight days” (as amended by section 267 of the Children Act 2001) in each place that it occurs, and

(b) by the substitution of “where an extension is to exceed twenty-nine days” for “where an extension is to exceed eight days”.

2. Short title and collective citation.

2. (1) This Act may be cited as the Child Care (Amendment) Act 2013.

(2) The Child Care Acts 1991 to 2011 and this Act may be cited together as the Child Care Acts 1991 to 2013.
