Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 14th October, 2022.
I, DARRAGH O’BRIEN, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) and for the purpose of giving further effect to Directive (EU) 2015/1535 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 September 20151 , hereby make the following regulations:

These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Planning and Development, Maritime and Valuation (Amendment) Act 2022) (Amendment) Regulations 2022.

In these Regulations, “Act of 2022” means the Planning and Development, Maritime and Valuation (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 29 of 2022).

Section 3 of the Act of 2022 is deemed not to have come into operation on the date of passing of that Act and shall not come into operation until provided for pursuant to any Act or statutory instrument.
4.
Section 1(4) of the Act of 2022 is amended by the substitution of “sections 4 to 7” for “sections 3 to 7”.
