(1A) An order under this Act which contains a statement that it is made for the purpose of protecting forest trees, timber and other forest products from attack by pests, may impose such reasonable fees or other charges as the Department may, with the consent of the Department of Finance and Personnel, prescribe— (a) in connection with applications for and the issue of any licence or certificate which may be issued in pursuance of such an order in connection with the import or export of any article; (b) in respect of the performance by the Department of any service without the performance of which any requirement for the issue of such a licence or certificate would not be met.

SCHEDULE 1

Compulsory acquisition: vesting orders

Compulsory acquisition: procedure, etc.

Schedule 6 to the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 1972 (c. 9) applies for the purposes of the acquisition of land by means of a vesting order made under paragraph 1 in the same manner as it applies to the acquisition of land by means of a vesting order made under that Act, subject to the following modifications—

Compulsory acquisition: land belonging to statutory bodies and inalienable land

The power to make a vesting order under paragraph 1 in respect of land—

shall not, where representations objecting to the proposal for making the order have been duly made by the owner of the land and have not been withdrawn, be exercised in relation to that land unless the proposal for making the order has been approved by a resolution of the Assembly.
