Power of Department to give directions

(1) The Education and Libraries (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 is amended as follows.

(2) In Article 101 (power of Department to give directions), after sub-paragraph (f) of paragraph (3), insert—

(fa) the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland;

Commencement and short title

(1) This Act comes into operation on the day after receiving Royal Assent.

(2) This Act may be cited as the General Teaching Council (Directions) Act (Northern Ireland) 2022.
