The Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order (Northern Ireland) 1992

Made: 10th March 1992

Coming into operation: 6th April 1992

The Department of Health and Social Services for Northern Ireland, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 64(1C) of the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Act 1975 and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following order:

Citation and commencement

This order may be cited as the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order (Northern Ireland) 1992 and shall come into operation on 6th April 1992.

Increase of earnings limits in respect of dependent children

In section 64(1B) of the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Act 1975 —

• (a) in paragraph (a) for “£110” there shall be substituted “ £115 ”; and

• (b) in paragraph (b) for “£14” and “£110” there shall be substituted “ £15 ” and “ £115 ” respectively.

Revocation

The Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order (Northern Ireland) 1991 is hereby revoked.

Section 64 ceased to have effect except for existing beneficiaries from 6th April 1987 by virtue of paragraph 4 of Schedule 3 to the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 (S.I. 1986/1888 (N.I. 18))
