Companies (1990 Order) (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 1991

The Department of Economic Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1 of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1990[^f00001] and paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974[^f00002] and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Companies (1990 Order) (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 1991.
Provisions of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1990 brought into operation by this Order

Articles 37 and 38 of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1990 shall come into operation on 21st November 1991.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order.)
This Order brings into operation on 21st November 1991 Articles 37 and 38 of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1990 (“the Order”). Article 37 obliges the Department of Economic Development to make regulations requiring the keeping of a register of auditors. Article 38 obliges that Department to make regulations requiring recognised supervisory bodies under Part III of the Order to keep and make available to the public certain information relating to bodies corporate and partnerships eligible for appointment as a company auditor.
