The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(2) of the Pollution Control and Local Government (Northern Ireland) Order 1978 (hereinafter referred to as “the Order”) and paragraphs 2(1) and 2(2) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following order:
Citation

This Order may be cited as the Pollution Control and Local Government (1978 Order) (Commencement No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 1992.
Appointed day
2
The day appointed for the coming into operation of the provisions of the Order which are specified in column 1 of the Schedule and which relate to the subject matter specified in column thereof shall be 1st July 1992.
