Housing (1992 Order) (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 1992

Made: 16th September 1992

The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Articles 1(3) and 2(2) of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1992[^f00001] and paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974[^f00002] and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

This Order may be cited as the Housing (1992 Order) (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 1992.

Appointed day

The day appointed for the coming into operation of the following provisions of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 is 1st October 1992—

• (a) Part III;

• (b) Article 108(1) in so far as it relates to the provision mentioned in paragraph (d);

• (c) Schedule 3, and

• (d) Part II of Schedule 9.

Explanatory note

(This not is not part of the Order.)

This Order provides for the coming into operation on 1st October 1992 of the grants provisions of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1992. The other provisions of the Order came into operation on 16th September 1992.
